Born Owen Joshua Tomlinson, I grew up with a love for music and soon developed an interest in performing and creating it. I started playing guitar when I was 10 years old, and I spent my first six years mostly learning songs before eventually practicing scales and techniques. I also play a little bit of bass guitar and keyboards, but I am more advanced on the guitar. My main influences as a guitarist are Jimmy Page, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, David Gilmore, Eric Clapton, and Prince.

I have a First Class Honours Degree in Professional Performance from the Academy of Contemporary Music in Guildford and during my time at university, I was able to refine my knowledge and skills in music performance, production and theory.

I’ve performed with many bands and I’m currently the guitarist for my own band, SHARD, and a function band called Above Board. I also recently decided to become a freelance guitarist, composer and producer and hopefully find work in that field.
